Royalty‑free license
What you can and cannot do after purchasing a clip on Your Clip Stock — no legal fog, just practical guidance.

No ownership of the Clip is transferred; you receive a right to use it as described herein.
2. Permitted uses
- Use in commercial, editorial, educational, and internal corporate productions.
- Distribution across web, social, broadcast, streaming, OTT, events, and in‑product UI displays.
- Modify the Clip through editing, color‑grading, cropping, overlaying graphics/text, compositing, or sequencing with other media.
- Use in multiple finished projects you produce, without additional per‑project fees.
3. Restrictions
- You may not sell, give away, sublicense, or redistribute the raw Clip itself, even if modified.
- The Clip may not be used as a standalone asset in stock libraries, template packs, or downloadable media bundles.
- Do not imply endorsement by identifiable persons, brands, or properties depicted without separate written permission where required.
- Do not use in defamatory, unlawful, or highly sensitive contexts without appropriate releases and approvals.
- The Clip may not be used to train or refine machine‑learning or AI models, nor ingested into AI datasets.
4. Seats and transfer
The license is granted to you (and your organization/team) for use in your productions and client work you deliver. You may provide the Clip as embedded within final exports to your clients, but you may not provide or enable access to the raw Clip for your clients to use independently as stock.
5. Third‑party rights
This license covers the clip as a creative work. It does not grant separate permissions that may be required for model, property, trademark, or brand use in certain contexts. You are responsible for ensuring your end use complies with applicable laws and obtaining any additional clearances if needed.
6. Ownership
Your Clip Stock and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Clip. No ownership or exclusive rights are assigned or transferred by this agreement.
7. Prohibited conduct
- Re‑distributing the clip (or frames thereof) as a stock or standalone file.
- Registering the clip or any stills as a trademark, logo, or service mark.
- Using the lip in any way that violates applicable law or third‑party rights.
8. Term and termination
This license is perpetual for the purchased Clip. Your rights terminate if you materially breach these terms and fail to cure such breach after notice. Upon termination, you must cease using the Clip in new productions; existing final productions already distributed may generally continue to be displayed.
9. Warranties and liability
The clip is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your Clip Stock disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Clip. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where prohibited, these limits shall apply only to the extent permitted.
10. Updates
Your Clip Stock may update these license terms to clarify usage or reflect legal changes. Updates apply to new purchases; previously purchased Clips remain governed by the version in effect at the time of purchase unless you agree to the updated terms.
11. Seats and users
This license is granted to the purchasing individual or the purchasing organization. Reasonable use by that organization’s team and subcontractors working on the same project is permitted, provided they act on behalf of the licensee and do not use or retain the raw Clip for other projects. For large multi‑team or multi‑brand use, additional seats or licenses may be required.
12. Client use and transfer
You may deliver the Clip only as embedded within final exports to your client. Your client may use those final exports worldwide and in perpetuity. This agreement does not transfer rights to the raw Clip to your client or any third party; to use the raw Clip independently, a separate license must be purchased.
13. Editorial‑only assets
If a Clip is marked “Editorial,” it is licensed solely for editorial or informational contexts where no brand, product, or service is promoted. Editorial Clips may not be used for commercial endorsement or advertising without separate written permission.
14. Merchandise and end products for sale
Using the Clip where it is the primary value of a product for sale (e.g., resellable motion backgrounds, downloadable stock, template packs) is prohibited. Incorporation of the Clip into films, ads, course content, apps, or similar productions is permitted, provided the end user cannot extract the raw Clip.
15. Refunds and remedies
If a Clip is defective or rights must be withdrawn, Your Clip Stock may, at its discretion, replace the Clip, provide an account credit, or refund the purchase price. These remedies are your exclusive remedies for such issues.
16. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Clip is provided “as is” and without indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Your Clip Stock against claims arising from your specific use of the Clip, including failure to obtain releases needed for sensitive or endorsement‑implying contexts.
17. Governing law; Venue
This agreement is governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles. The courts located in Copenhagen, Denmark, shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over disputes arising from this agreement.
18. Miscellaneous
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
- Entire agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement for the Clip and supersede prior understandings.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
- Versioning: Identify this license by the “Last updated” date shown on this page.
